Please notice the change of dates for the commemorative service and Annual meeting! 4. martā: Gavēņa laika trešā svētdiena. Dievkalpojums ar dievgaldu. Seko pusdienas un Latvijas sieviešu ansambļa “Putni” koncerts nama zālē. Ansamblis dziedās arī baznīcā dievkalpojuma laikā. Koncerts ir daļa no Latvijas Simtgades svinībām. To rīko LBVŠ kopā ar Baltic Arts Council NW (Heather MacLaughlin Garbes, vadītāja). Third Sunday of Lent—Worship Service with communion. After the Worship service all are invited to lunch and a concert by the Latvian Women’s Ensemble “Putni.” They will be singing during the service as well. The concert is part of Latvia’s One Hundred Years celebration and is organized by the LBVŠ together with the Baltic Arts Council NW (led by Heather MacLaughlin Garbes). 11. martā: Gavēņa laika ceturtā svētdiena. Kalpaka dievkalpojums. Seko pusdienas un Draudzes Gada sapulce nama zālē. Fourth Sunday of Lent. Commemorative Worship service honoring those who fought for Latvia’s freedom under the leadership of Col. Oskars Kalpaks. Lunch and Annual congreation meeting following the service. 18. martā: Gavēņa piektā svētdiena. Dievkalpojums ar dievgaldu. Seko Bibeles stunda. Fifth Sunday of Lent—Worship service with communion followed by Bible study. 25. martā: Palm Sunday. English language worship service with communion. Followed by Church Board meeting. Seko Padomes sēde. 29. martā: Zaļā Ceturtdiena. Dievkalpojums Takomā (1st Lutheran Church) pulksten 1os. Maundy Thursday-- 1p.m. in Tacoma. (First Lutheran Church. 524 S. “I” St.) Worship service with communion. 25. martā: Lielā Piektdiena. Dievkalpojums ar dievgaldu pulksten 7os vakarā. Good Friday –7 p.m.—Worship Service with communion.
